I admire the way that wildlife photographers like Andy Rouse work with light and the subject's context and background.
Understanding the theory is one thing, but execution requires real skill and experience. Thankfully my subjects here stood
still and waited patiently while I worked. I was initially attracted by the combination of backlighting and wind, and thought that such
a hostile and unvegetated landscape would make for an interesting result. Jökulgil.
