ICELAND | beach ice | August 2010 | 46127 160S
White ice on a black beach must rank as one of the hardest subjects going for a film photographer. Add in the fact that the sea-going icebergs float past and the
incoming waves wash the blocks on the sand up and down, and composition isn't simple either. I was continually having to recompose and refocus. With my elbows on the sand!
Thankfully I like the unusual result. Jökulsarlón at dawn.
